  5. four cloves garlic, minced
  6. 2 tablespoons grated clean ginger root
  7. 1 serrano chile pepper, finely chopped
  8. 2 teaspoons chopped sparkling cilantro
  9. 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  10. 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  11. 1 ½ teaspoons floor cumin
  12. 1 teaspoon floor cayenne pepper
  13. 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  14. 3 potatoes, peeled and diced
  15. 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  16. 1 cup frozen green peas
  17. 1 teaspoon garam masala

    Ingredients to make keema aloo

    Heat olive oil in a huge saucepan over medium-excessive heat. Add onion; cook and stir until tender and beginning to brown, about 12 minutes. If browned bits of onion are caught to the bottom of the pan, add water and stir to loosen.

    Stir ground red meat, garlic, ginger, serrano chile, and cilantro into the pan; cook and stir till pork is browned and crumbly, 10 to 15 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low.
