Ingredients

  1. 1 cup water
  2. 1 Mexican cinnamon stick
  3. 1/2 cup short-cooking oats
  4. 1/2 cup milk
  5. 1 tablespoon piloncillo, or to taste
  6. half teaspoon ground cinnamon
  7. half teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Bring water and cinnamon keep on with a boil in a saucepan. Reduce warmness and simmer for five minutes.

    Add oats and cook dinner for 1 minute. Add milk and cook dinner until thickened, 1 to two mins. Remove from warmness. Stir in piloncillo, cinnamon, and vanilla.
