- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 medium onions, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon minced sparkling ginger
- 1/four cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon floor coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- half teaspoon ground turmeric
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 2 green chiles, halved lengthways (Optional)
- 2 skinless, boneless chook breast halves, cubed
- 1 teaspoon curry paste, along with Patak’s
- 1/four cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
Directions
Heat oil in a nonstick pan over excessive heat. Add onion and salt; cook and stir till onion has softened, about 5 minutes.
Reduce warmth to low; stir in garlic and ginger till aromatic. Add warm water; cowl, and cook, stirring now and again, until water has evaporated, about five minutes.
